Healthy burgers

Hey Veggies. Do you miss a good burger?

One of the things I miss out here in Spain is having a burger during one of the many BBQs we seem to have, or attend. So, I am going to try and make different combinations and add them here for anyone else who is missing a good burger and would like a great alternative.
#FeedsMySoul by feeding my body with good nutritious foods.  Please feel free to add your suggestions in the comments. I may try some (testing purposes) and then showcase them on here and credit you.

Chickpea and Carrot Burger

  • Tin or jar of chickpeas - washed and drained
  • Oats 150g
  • Shredded carrot x3
  • Red onion
  • Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder 1/2tsp
This is dead easy. 
  1. Combine all the ingredients into a blender
  2. Shape into burgers
  3. Fry in a little olive oil
I have had these in a bun with all the trimmings. I have also had them alone with a dollop of sweet chilli sauce on the top.
