Who is Tracey Bartlett

Who am I?

I am Tracey, a tall gal with a big heart, a wife; mother; grandmother; and doggie mum living in gorgeous Spain. I've lived in South London; the Southeast of England and Cyprus, but have to admit that Spain is by far my favourite. If you were to ask someone about me, they'd say that I love walking. I love walking so much that I have walked miles for charity. I am a believer in positivity and that "like attracts like"

My life hasn't always been as positive and as fun as sun and sangria. Many moons ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I had a very different life where unfortunately I endured severe bullying at school, stranger assault, difficult marriages and workplace sexual harassment. I foolishly grew up accepting of this. My kindness and trust in others, was well and truly taken advantage of. I am grateful that I have I learnt lessons that helped me grow from a fragile naive young lady into the 'not-taking-shit-from-anyone-cos-my-wellbeing-always-comes-first' older wiser woman!

I have met some extraordinary, loving, supportive souls. Many have become family to me, with dear friends scattered around the world. I also struck lucky and finally met my true soul mate, Scott, who has supported me on my journey of self discovery. ..... All are precious gifts, that I will never take for granted. They inspire and motivate me, as I would like to inspire and motivate others through my website and Instagram

My life NOW is so full of sunshine and so much love. Thank you universe!

"Don't be envious. My life is what it is today, because of what I went through yesterday"

No one has become poor from giving ~ Anne Frank

I have enjoyed raising awareness and raising funds for worthy causes. Over the years I have done the following:

  • becoming a Trustee for a year and volunteered my online marketing skills
  • abseiled 128ft down Ocean House (despite a fear of heights!)
  • walked 16km (10 mile) - Night to Remember
  • walked 26km (16mile) - 1066 charity
  • walked 42km (26.6 miles) over the South Downs - Cancer Trust
  • walked 100km (62.5 miles) from London to Brighton
  • struggled through Dry January many times (hard! lol)
  • dressed up for various Children in Need events
