Walk With Purpose and Raise Funds with trundl!
Walk With Purpose With trundl!
If you’re anything like me and you love a good walk. Whether
it’s a gentle solo ramble to clear your head, or a scenic stomp with friends,
then you might just like the App called trundl. I accidentally stumbled
across them after receiving an email. Most unsolicited emails get binned
without reading, but I am a sucker for anything with WALK in the text! This isn’t a walking app that tracks your
steps and cheers you on with a virtual high five (I don’t know about you, but
I’m bored with them). trundl goes further and turns every step you take into
something meaningful. You walk, and trundl donates to UK charities.
How Can You Raise Money using trundl?
trundl is a UK-based app that’s built on one beautiful idea….
you walk, and they give. You don’t have to fundraise, pester friends for sponsorship, or dig into your own pocket. You just walk as you normally would, and they give. It’s that simple!
Every time you go out for a walk with your dog, your mates,
or just to clear your mind, open their App, click on “Go trundling,” and off
you go. trundl then donates 30% of their income to charities every month.
Charities such as:
- Dogs
for Autism
- National
Parks UK
- The
Trussell Trust
- And
more!
What’s In It for the trundl App user?
Aside from the warm fuzzy feeling of doing something for
charities, just by doing your normal walking routine, you’ll also:
- Collect
badges (for those who still like friendly gamification)
- Get
access to occasional perks and rewards from UK brand partners
- Join
in with Community Trundls, where loads of walkers join forces to unlock
extra donations just by walking on the same day.
- There’s also an eco-bonus. The App tracks how much CO2
you’ve saved by walking. And when the community hits certain green goals, they
plant fruit orchards in UK schools. Now, that really adds a little extra
something to a nature loving walker like me!
Can You Use trundl in Spain?
Yes… and no.
If you’re visiting Spain from the UK or living here but
still use a UK phone number, you can use trundl here in Spain. All of your walks will still
count towards those donations, just as if you were walking in windy, rainy UK.
However, if like me, you’ve switched to a Spanish mobile
number, trundl currently isn’t available for us just yet. A bit of a shame, I
know. But fingers crossed they expand internationally in the near future, because
there’s plenty of good walking going on outside the UK too. I think they’d
get a warm welcome here in Spain.
How Much Does It Cost to use trundl?
After a 21-day free trial, it’s £3.99 a month. Which is less
than a café con leche with tostada, or that bottle of Guvnor! Such a small
monthly cost goes a long way in making a difference. Get some extended time on the trial with discount code FEEDSMYSOUL7 (valid until July 31st 2025)
Final Thoughts From WalkTallSpain
If you’re part of a walking group, or just someone who finds
joy and calm in a regular stroll, then trundl is a fab way to add a little
extra purpose to your steps. You'll be doing something good for your body, good
for your mind - and now, for a good cause!
Get those boots on, open the trundl App, and make every mile (or
kilometre!) count.
I can’t wait to give it a try myself. Have you tried it?
