In 2014 I became a Trustee for The Sara Lee Trust for a year. That's when my complementary therapy journey started. Soon after, one of my clients The Body Junction was in need of a receptionist, I had such a strong urge to be in an environment that was slower paced, less technology driven, abound with positivity and the focus was more about people that I offered my services and worked this around my business. I love working there, it's my sanctuary once a week, I find being around the staff and trying the classes and therapies really #FeedsMySoul
My technology business Business Helpers helps business, in 2016 I focused on helping those within the complementary therapy fields. I then began to want to help people in other ways too, those I had worked with inspired me. With a new future in mind at the start of 2017 I began a distance learning course in Anatomy and Physiology with the aim to keep my brain busy for the next couple of years. Then to move on to learning a therapy. This course proved to be difficult to learn as I wasnt retaining the information. I wasn't using it on a day to day level. I gave myself a hard time and stressed myself with trying to be perfect at something, that in the end I decided the time just wasnt right for me. Maybe I will pick that up in the future? It may take a while, there isn't a rush.
